Private Mentoring

For the ultimate in blackjack instruction I offer one-on-one Private Mentoring sessions for individuals and small groups. Sit down face-to-face with one of the world’s best at a location of your choice – Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, or even your own living room, and have your game evaluated by me as part of a full day of expert instruction tailored to your strengths and weaknesses. Private Mentoring sessions are geared to players of all skill levels – even beginners – who may actually be better students because they don’t have a lot of preconceived notions about how to play!

Not only will I teach you the art and science of card counting, I will also share my experiences as an MIT student turned professional card counter and tell entertaining stories from my days on the team. By the end of the session, you will have everything you need to put card counting theory into practice, and to gain a winning edge over the casinos. My goal is for each and every client to become a winning player, so your training will not stop when I leave. After your session, I will continue to follow up with you to make sure you are applying the concepts correctly and I will serve as your personal blackjack mentor for life! You will be able to ask me follow up questions, get my feedback on your casino sessions, and much more. My business is mostly through referrals, and I take pride in knowing that my students will be an example of what my mentoring and a little hard work can do.

Some of the skills you will learn are shown below, but keep in mind that each sessions is highly customized to the individual student, which makes the session that much more effective.

• Why Blackjack can be Beaten: How does counting cards work? Learn the basis behind the theory.
• Expected Value: Generating positive EV is the key to being a winning blackjack player. I will tell you why and teach you to calculate to the penny the money you should win.

• Blackjack Basic Strategy: Playing winning blackjack is about making the correct decision – every time. Playing most of your hands correctly simply won’t cut it. You must learn how to play all of your hands correctly to gain the winning edge.
• Counting Systems: Forget the myths. Learn how card counting really works. The fact is that card counting is simple and straight forward. Applying the theory is what matters, and that’s what I will teach you to do.
• The Running Count: Most people think if they can keep the running that they are counting cards. That is a recipe for disaster, as that is only the beginning, not the end of your training.
• Meaningful Pairs: I will show you methods and shortcuts for keeping the Running Count that will cut your work load almost in half!
• Deck Estimation: To put the Running Count into the proper perspective, you need to understand the importance of the number of decks remaining.
• True Count: The True Count is a direct measure of your advantage over the house. I will teach you tips for calculating the True Count that aren’t available anywhere else and will up your game to the next level.
• Betting Strategy: Chasing your losses, using betting progressions, and wagering based on a lucky feeling are sure fire ways to go broke. You need to know how to use card counting to your advantage through a smart, mathematically proven betting strategy.
• Numbers Plays: So by now you are getting pretty good. Learn how to use the true count to make your playing decisions even stronger.
• Money Management: Poor money management has caused many gamblers to go bankrupt. After you’ve mastered all the skills, learn how to manage your bankroll properly so you can enjoy your profits over the long run.
• The Art of Deception: Now that you have this skill, how do you maximize its value? I’ll teach you how to avoid raising the pit boss suspicions, and to fly under the radar and maximize your win.
